Specialist Showcase: Lance Hardman
“I take pride in selling the John Deere brand and the quality that stands behind the name.” It’s as simple as that for Lance Hardman, the resident Lawn and Garden equipment “Guru” at Legacy Farm and Lawn in Lamar, but “taking pride” to Lance is about more than making a sale.
An attendee of John Deere classes in Sarasota, Florida, Lance is continually absorbing new information about upcoming equipment, technologies and promotions and then passing it along to customers in the most useful way possible. Lance explains, “I treat every sale as if I were the customer – trying to make sure I have the right equipment for each individual. For instance, you may be looking at Zero Turn mowers because you can turn 180 degrees or more, get the job done fast and mow large flat properties efficiently, but the tractor style mower can handle most other needs on attachments; haul materials, aerate turn and plow the wild Missouri weather of snow. Having a solid understanding of what each machine is capable of will help you get the most out of your investment, your land, and your time.”
You’ll have your chance at tapping into Lance’s knowledge and getting the best deal of the year on a new John Deere April 30 at Legacy Farm and Lawn’s annual “Green Tag Event.” “Green Tag Event is a chance for us to showcase our products with a ride and drive course along with allowing us to take care of all of your Lawn and Garden needs in cooperation with Parts and Service. It also just happens to be the one day of the year when you receive both Legacy Farm and Lawn discounts plus John Deere discounts on tons of lawn equipment, “ Lance explains. “You get to test drive your car… why not a mower? Green Tag is the best time to come out, talk about your land and your needs and then take a look at the John Deere that’s right for you.” The Green Tag Event at Legacy Farm and Lawn begins April 30th at 8:00 a.m.
